2. Mastek Cause-A-Thon 2014

3. Tribute To Gandhi
Paying tribute to Gandhi, an interaction session will be held discussing about Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, and his idea of India. To be moderated by B G Verghese, panelists Dr. Sudarshan Iyengar, Pavan Varma, Niyaz Laiq and Sanchaita Gajapati will be discussing about books on Gandhi and topics like non-violence, Satyagraha, non cooperative movement, his influences and relationship with Africa. The talk will be followed by bhajan recital by Radhika Chopra.

4. Bangalore Literature Festival
The Bangalore Literature Festival, a fêtes for readers and writer is back. A platform that brings the bookworms and bibliophiles to meet their favourite national and international writers.
There will be book launches, workshops, panel discussions, performances, interactions and much more for everyone.
This year the festival is dedicated to Jnanpith awardee Professor UR Ananthamurthy. Several eminent writers have planned a tribute planned by several writers.
Well-known names such as Girish Karnad, Arun Shourie, Gulzar,Leila Seth, Shobhaa De, Nayantara Sahgal, Chetan Bhagat, Natwar Singh along with 25 international participants.This year, the orgnisiers are also proving a platform for aspiring author through their initiative Lit-Mart, where in they are allowed to present a three-minute pitch of their manuscripts.

5. Heart for Art
Parikrma Humanity Foundation and Gallery G presents ‘Heart for Art’ a fund-raising initiative which showcases the Parikrma children’s art to the world. The exhibition brings together works by student artists from the four schools run by the Parikrma Foundation in Bangalore.
