1. North Eastern Diaries
An evening with a wildlife filmmaker and two-time Green Oscar nominee SandeshKadur followed by a series of short films and discussion on his mission to document the natural and cultural treasures of the Eastern Himalaya. Very little is known about the wildlife and people of eastern Himalayas as it is considered too dangerous to allow outsiders. In this series, SandeshKadur, a wildlife photographer and filmmaker explores this remote and unseen region on a quest to document some of its rare inhabitants, from Golden Langurs to Clouded Leopards.

2. Bengaluru International Arts Festival 2014
Bengaluru International Arts Festival 2014 is now celebrating its 7th year in epitomizing “Celebration of Harmony through Arts”. Thought provoking and well curated art presentations by artists from both India and abroad are being featured in BIAF 2014.

3. The Oil Spill India 2014
The Oil Spill India 2014 at Goa, will focus on the prevention of, and response to environmental incidents in the marine environment. 5. “Incredible Uttarakhand” photo exhibition
Society for Agriculture Growth and Administrative Research (Sagar) presents “Incredible Uttarakhand” an Exhibiton of photographs by Mountaineer-cum-photographer Shekhar Jayal. 6. Unseen Faces, Unheard Voices – Photography Competition
Suchetadhama brings a photography competition to show respect to the elderly – especially those who are deprived and forgotten – on 1st October World Elder’s Day.
The top ten entries will be exhibited along with the works of prominent professional photographers in a photography exhibition coming up in Bangalore in October 2014. Winners will get a week-long master class with a leading professional photographer and a coffee table book by Raghu Rai.
